Global Sevilla School's Mission: Educating the Nation

The Global Sevilla School mission pairs character education with a tiered system that begins in early years, so students excel in academics and character.

Global Sevilla School mission

The tiered education system at Global Sevilla School, which starts from early years (early childhood education), gives it an edge over other international schools. Its character education is especially appealing to parents who want their children to excel not only academically but also to grow up with a strong character.

After early years comes primary school. At this stage, children learn a range of subjects related to information, communication, and technology. Practical work takes place in laboratories with advanced facilities.

The next stage is secondary school. Here, Global Sevilla School students focus more on research. Cambridge tests are also administered, covering three areas: math, science, and, of course, English.

Vision and Mission of Global Sevilla School

The strengths Global Sevilla offers are closely tied to the school's own vision and mission. Its vision is to be a leading K-12 international-standard school, one with a strong reputation and recognized for excellence in character education, as well as in teaching and learning.

The school's main mission is to nurture global students through a character-based system. To realize this vision and mission, Global Sevilla School builds character education into its lessons, such as mindfulness and spiritually based leadership education.

For spiritually based character education focused on leadership, Global Sevilla School uses scouting (pramuka), in which all students take part. Students' leadership spirit is also honed through the student council (OSIS). The student council president is chosen through a process of nomination, campaigning, and voting. Through this process, students learn how to practice democracy properly and fairly, without cheating.

The vision and mission of Global Sevilla School make clear that the school prioritizes not only academic results but also encourages good manners and noble values in students through character education. A balance between academic and non-academic achievement will produce a resilient, high-quality generation for the nation.
