Insurance Continuing Education made Easy!

• Agent must complete 24 hours of continuing education
  
• 3 hours of Ethics

• All producers MUST earn 3 hours in ethics.
  
• A maximum of 6 hours related to insurance agency management may be taken for CE credit per review period.
  
• Producers licensed for property and casualty have a one-time requirement to take a 3 hour course on the National Flood insurance Program.
  
• Agents who sell LTC policies are required by there LTC insurance carrier to complete a 8 hour LTC Partnership program. by completeing this course you will recieve 8 hours of continuing education as well as satisfy your insurance carriers requirements.

• Current compliance period ends March 31, 2011
  
• Future compliance periods April 1st of odd numbered years and end on March 31, two years later

• No carry over hours.

• Courses cannot be repeated withing the same compliance period.

• Courses may only be taken once in a compliance period.

• If the course taken is self-study, the Agent must pass a monitored examination. The monitor must be a disinterested third party.
  
• If courses are taken in a classroom, there is no examination.
