- Agents must complete 15 hours of continuing education every year.

- Agents must complete 1 hour of ethics as part of there 15 hours.
|
- Agents who have been licensed continuously for 25 years, regardless of state(s) in which an agent was licensed, is exempt from continuing education with a notarized letter.
|
- Every agent must complete their continuing education requirements by September 30th every year. Original certificates of completion must be received by the state along with your filing fee by September 30th each year.
|
- Carryover hours are not permitted.
|
- Agents must wait 3 years before repeating a course.
|
- Continuing education courses may be either self-study or classroom.
- Self-study courses are available as an option if you live in an area where classes are not offered.
|
- If the course taken is self-study, the agent must pass a non-monitored examination.
- If the course taken is a classroom, there is no examination.
