- Agents must complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.

- All Adjusters, Resident Producers licensed in the following lines of authority: Property & Casualty, Personal Lines, Accident & Health, Variable Life/Variable Annuity, Title Agents – can take any course to completed the Agent’s Continuing Education plus Ethics.
- Agents must complete Ethics for 3 credit hours.
- Agents new requirement for self-study courses limit the number of course hours to 8 in a 24 hour period. For insurance, if someone orders a 16 hour course, it cannot be completed any sooner than the 2nd day from purchase. The new rule was effective April 14, 2005.
- Adjuster Requirement: Adjuster Agents can take any course to complete their continuing education of 24 credits including 3 credit hours of Ethics every two years.
- Nonresident Adjusters: If an Adjuster is licensed in his Home State (example: Colorado..etc.) of residency, the Agent can send the completed and signed CE reporting form, $30.00 CE filing fee and a current original letter of certification from his Home State of residency (the Wyoming Department of Insurance would give the Agent their 24 credits needed to renew their license in Wyoming.) This does not apply to Classroom Training courses.
- Title Requirement: Title Agents can take any course to complete their continuing education of 24 credits including 3 credit hours of Ethics every two years.
- Agents who handle Long Term Care Insurance Products will need to complete an initial 6 hour special education course with 4 hour refresher courses required for subsequent renewals. This course also satisfies your insurance carriers requirements
- Any Agent who sells Flood Insurance, must complete a minimum of 3 credit hours for Flood Insurance. This course also satisfies the FEMA requirement.

- Every Agent must complete their Continuing Education by their birth date every 2 years.

- No carryover hours are allowed.
|
- Courses may not be taken more that once in two years.

- Continuing education courses may be either self-study or classroom.
|
- If the course taken is self-study, the Agent must pass a Monitored Examination. The monitor must be a disinterested third party.
- If the course taken is a classroom, there is no examination.
Continuing Education filings must be received prior to expiration of the Agent’s
License. A $30.00 fee plus additional renewal fees are required to renew the
Agent’s license. The Agent must mail the completed form to:
