Hours
  • Producers and Adjusters must complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years including 3 credit hours of Ethics. 12 hours of Continuing Education must be in classroom training.
  • Adjusters can also take any L/H or P/C course to fulfill their CE.
  • Title Agents are required to complete 12 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years including 3 credit hours of Ethics. 6 hours of Continuing Education must be in classroom training.
  • Title, Adjusters, L/H, and P/C Agents also can take Ethics in Insurance course #20725 and Ethics course #10731 to complete their Ethics requirement in all of the above lines of authority.
Requirements
  • Agents must complete 3 hours of Ethics
  • Agents who sell, solicit or negotiate Long Term Care Insurance must complete an 8 hour Long Term Care Program required by your insurance carrier. If you complete this course you will receive 6 hours of Continuing Education as well as satisfying your 8 hours for your insurance carrier’s requirement.
  • Insurance producers who sell Federal flood insurance policies shall be required to complete a one time 3 hour requirement on flood insurance. If you complete this course you will receive 6 hours of Continuing Education as well as satisfying the FEMA requirement.
  • Adjusters- can take any Property & Casualty courses.
Compliance Date
  • License renewal date is the end of their birth month that falls on or after the date of issuance or previously scheduled renewal date.
Excess Hours
  • Carryover hours are not permitted.
Course Repetition
  • Course cannot be repeated.

Course Presentation

  • Continuing education courses may be either self-study or classroom. Only a maximum of 50% can be completed by self-study.
Examination
  • If the course taken is self-study the Agent must pass a Non-Monitored examination.
  • If the course taken is a classroom, there is no examination.

Completed credits are submitted on-line to Sircon.
