- Agents must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 3 years.

- Courses must be approved for the lines of insurance for which the Agent is licensed.

- Every Agent must complete their continuing education requirement before their license renewal date. The renewal date is the first day of the month following the license issuance date, and every 3 years thereafter.
|
- Carryover hours are not permitted
|
- Courses may not be taken more than once in a 3 year period.
|
- Continuing education courses may be either self-study or classroom.
|
- If the course taken is self-study, the Agent must pass a monitored examination. The monitor must be a supervisor, manager or training director.
- If the course taken is classroom there is no examination.
